More Stretching the Envelope

Today I posted parts 1 and 2 of My Weight Loss Story.

I think I blew Stanley’s mind. I was watching the video. He climbed up on my lap, watched the monitor, then looked at me, then back at the monitor. There were two Moms.

Anyway, here’s my story…

You can tell I’m not used to talking for a half hour at a time.

  1. Goodness gracious Karen I had no idea you had such problems losing weight. Thanks for sharing this. It’s great to also really see you, now I know what to picture LOL. That is crazy though that after all of the dieting you did your body didn’t respond to them. I can attest to it being very difficult to lose weight as a diabetic. I don’t “diet” anymore. I watch my sugar intake and carbs, exercise ( I don’t kill myself anymore, I either walk, do my bike and floor exercises or pilates) and this I try to do five days a week.

Good for you at the videos. I would be super critical of myself but I love your videos.

    • It’s been a challenge. I must be one of those weird people who just have to try harder. I do admit to being jealous of people for whom weight loss is easy. Each pound is a battle won. 🙂

  2. Well shoot fire, girl. I am proud of you. I have had weight issues so I am aware that it can be difficult.

It is obvious you are on a journey with a definite goal. It is also obvious you will make the goal because of who you are.

Take care – and be proud of yourself.

    • I’m determined, Annette. If I have to exercise more, I will. I’m doing 90 minutes of exercise a day now. I’m starting to add my treadmill to my routine along with the CardioStrider.
