Stanley’s New Friend

According to Joni, the manager of Pupstop, Stanley’s daycare, he has a new best buddy. It’s Larry, the standard poodle who thinks he’s a small dog. Evidently, he lives with a tiny dog so that’s how he plays. From the following pictures I can only agree.

Notice that Stanley’s the only one in a super duper harness? Let’s just say that Stanley was born to run. Out of the car, onto the street, anywhere the wind blows free in his hair. Plus, the harness has a handle and that has really come in handy.

  1. I have that same style harness for my dogs. They are 10 and 12, but they also love to run free, and they are really fast. Their ID tags list my name, their names, my address. Cell phone. Home phone. And the fact that I love them. Good thing I found a place that engraved both sides of the tag. Oh, they do head back on their own, but if I catch up to Harley with the car, I stop. Open the door, he jumps in.and we head home.

    • I have a tag like that for Stanley. He hates car rides, however, so he wouldn’t be convinced to jump in. 🙂

  2. I love that! I’m glad he’s friendly with other dogs. And I love the harness. After Daisy’s great escape I need to get something else. That poodle is adorable.

    • I’m going to make a point of taking him there once a week, just so he can have some dog time. 🙂

  3. If you ever create your own dictionary – put this series of pictures as the definition of joy – or fun – or friendship – or all three.
