I lost my Fitbit taking out the garbage yesterday, which is just another reason to hate taking out the garbage. I loved my little Fitbit. I had a dozen wrist bands for it and a necklace or two. I’ve retraced my steps and even examined the garbage. (Not fun.) It’s nowhere. The version I have only costs $59.95, but I don’t want to replace it if I can find it. I’ve had it for a couple of years and it’s relatively small, so maybe I’m fortunate that I haven’t lost it before now. Somehow the wrist band became twisted – probably because I didn’t have it tight enough – and it just popped out of there.

Stanley and I got up at 4:00 AM this morning. Rather than try to get more sleep (which I normally tracked with my Fitbit, darn it) I decided to start the day early. Stanley sat out on the patio for 15 minutes but wouldn’t go potty. I pounded on the screen door a few times (which always makes him bark) and told him in no uncertain terms to, “Go potty!” He went potty. Rolling my eyes here. Seriously, does he need instructions? (Why am I remembering potty training my sons?)

I received the nicest email from Michele Rioli of RomanceJunkies.com with the first review of To Love a Duchess. Here’s the link if you’d like to read the review.

Everything on the back end of the website is working well. I’ll be canceling my very expensive old hosting service today since I’ve been completely migrated. (Did you know that canceling is US English and cancelling is British English? I always spell it the British way and have to change it.)

Amy Valentini has published her first book! Readers of the blog will recognize Amy’s name because she’s been a long-time contributor to the comments. Here’s the link if you’d like to check out her book and buy it. (It looks great. I’ve purchased it, but haven’t read it yet.)
