I was driving through my subdivision the other day on the way to somewhere when I saw something that almost made me stop the car and put it in reverse.
A lady was standing on the corner eating a bush. Yep, no kidding. She was plucking the leaves from said bush, putting them in her mouth and chomping away. Now, I’m not an expert on horticulture, but I do know one thing: that bush was not sage. To the best of my knowledge, isn’t sage the only bush you can eat?
Then, as I was toodling along, I noticed that one neighbor had put up patio furniture on their front yard. Okay. One of the chairs was a huge duck. Okay.
My subdivision has no restrictions or HOA and you can tell. But it’s an interesting place what with decorating tastes being what they are and people eating their plants.
How about you? Do you live in an interesting neighborhood?
