I stumbled onto this service a few weeks ago – haven’t the slightest idea what led me to it. The more I’ve been thinking about it, however, the more situations I can think of that it would be valuable.
It’s Kitestring, and here’s the website: https://www.kitestring.io/
Basically, it’s a service that keeps track of you. Or “Your virtual overprotective mom” as they call themselves. Love that.
From their website:
What is Kitestring?
It’s a personal safety service. Ask Kitestring to check up on you at some future time, and Kitestring will text you to make sure you’re safe. Reply to the message (or check in on the website) and all is well. If you don’t check in, Kitestring alerts the emergency contacts that you set up ahead of time. Of course, you can always extend your ETA or check in early.
It’s free for 8 contacts a month and $3.00 a month for unlimited contacts.
What do you think? Would you ever use it?
