Isn’t that nice? Night Owl Reviews gave The Witch of Clan Sinclair a Top Pick designation.
Here’s the review:
This enjoyable historical romance continues the saga of the Sinclair family that was featured in “The Devil of Clan Sinclair” and gives an entertaining view of Edinburgh society as it undergoes a pivotal evolution. Mairi’s courage, her brother’s support and the blend of political turmoil and exploration of women’s roles makes this a fascinating and heartwarming story. There are wonderfully funny encounters between the main couple, particularly memorable is Mairi’s investigation of what Logan is wearing beneath his kilt! The secondary characters are also charismatic and I look forward to reading more about this unconventional family who find very imaginative solutions for the problems they encounter. This story flowed nicely and makes one think about the serious issues of women’s rights in an entertaining manner even as it provides a pair of delicious love stories. I look forward to reading the next title in the series, “The Virgin of Clan Sinclair”.
