Yes, of course you do – A Scandalous Scot releases today, which brings me to a story about laughter.
When I was at the vet the other day, a new woman was filling in for one of the regular vet techs. She had a very abrasive laugh. Plus, she chose to find everything funny. Someone could have said, “The toilet’s overflowing,” and she would have laughed.
My sense of humor is not like hers.
Her sense of humor is not like mine.
Isn’t it the same thing in books? I may read one book and love it, while someone else can say that it wasn’t their cup of tea.
Yet the world would be a boring place if it was filled with people who had the same opinion, wouldn’t it?
That said, I hope you love A Scandalous Scot. I hope Jean and Morgan sweep you away to their world, a lovely castle named Ballindair. I hope you laugh a little, sigh a little, and weep a little, and when you close the book, you’ll be glad to have lived their lives, if only for a little while.
